Quality Technician Job Description

Openwork has partnered with a leading worldwide manufacturer of wooden reels for electrical cable companies with over 70 years of experience. We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician to implement and maintain quality and environment management systems throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Create procedures, forms, and implement environmental management subsystems to minimize waste and reduce environmental impact.
  • Prepare and analyze non-conformity reports related to product, services, and environmental protection issues.
  • Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions taken to close non-conformities and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Present customer complaints analysis and environmental reports at management review meetings.
  • Analyze non-conformities and present findings at management review meetings as required.
  • Conduct internal audits related to quality and environmental management to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Prepare audit checklists, audit reports, and resulting non-conformity reports.
  • Assist in quality and environmental training and practices to ensure employee understanding and compliance.
  • Identify, evaluate, and report potential environmental issues and propose improvements for environmental protection.
  • Monitor and report actions for environmental protection and maintain records related to quality and environmental control.
  • Ensure all employees comply with quality and environment system and subsystem requirements.
  • Attend daily production meetings and perform additional duties assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
  • MS Office literacy
  • Previous experience in similar jobs
  • Good communication skills
  • High School diploma
  • English language proficiency
  • 3+ years of industrial quality experience
Salary and Shift:

$20.00 per hour, 1st shift, 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
