PRN Emergency Medicine Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Emergency Medicine Specialist to provide care on a PRN basis. This role is ideal for professionals with backgrounds in various specialties including family medicine, internal medicine, and orthopedic surgery, or those with a foundation in general medicine.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
  • Perform primarily interview-based assessments with some physical evaluations, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
  • No prescribing or treatment required.
  • Quick credentialing and onboarding process available.
  • DMA certification is obtainable, which includes CME credits upon obtaining privileges.
  • Utilize a Goniometer for assessments.
  • Must be familiar with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions.
  • Proficiency in METs testing and evaluating respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions is essential.
Requirements
  • Personal laptop required (NO MACs).
  • Training will be provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
  • All reports must be submitted within 48 hours of exam completion.
  • Completion of standardized forms is necessary, with evaluations conducted in the provider portal.
  • Regular follow-up administrative tasks, including addendums and medical opinions, will be required.
Compensation

Half-day Rate: $500 flat rate for shifts of 4 hours or less.
Daily Rate: $1200 flat rate for shifts of 5 hours or longer.
