Contract Negotiator

The College of American Pathologists is seeking a skilled Contract Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of contracts and transactional documents.
Key Responsibilities- Review and draft contracts, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Participate in internal meetings to discuss business goals, technical requirements, and contract objectives.
- Conduct risk assessments and due diligence to identify potential contractual risks and mitigating strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless contract administration and vendor management.
- Develop and maintain contract templates, procedures, and databases to ensure efficient contract management.
- Significant experience in transactional law, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
