About the Role

As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers and their newborns during the labor and delivery process. Your expertise will ensure a safe and comfortable birthing experience for mothers and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care to expectant mothers
  • Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assess progress during labor, and assist with pain management techniques
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized birth plans and interventions
  • Assist with childbirth, including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetric procedures
  • Educate and support mothers and their families during the postpartum period, providing breastfeeding assistance, newborn care instruction, and emotional support
Requirements
  • Current RN license
  • BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
  • Two years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
