Join Our Finance Analytics Team

Fannie Mae Corp is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analytics Intern to join our team. As a Finance Analytics Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that will help you develop your analytical skills and gain hands-on experience in finance and analytics.

The Impact You Will Make

As a Finance Analytics Intern, you will be responsible for developing and applying analytical skills to research open-ended questions, leverage data to produce insights, and provide consultative services to extend Fannie Mae's dynamic credit risk management capabilities. You will participate in seminar-style training on both business information and technical skills, including SQL and R, as well as an introduction to working with technology and data platforms.

Examples of Intern Tasks and Projects
  • Identify and develop technical improvements and business process automation in Credit expense forecasting
  • Perform business analytics to develop prioritized functional requirements and testing to improve model and financial analytics
  • Research production model improvements through back-testing, text analysis, and data mining
Requirements
  • Be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Academic achievement (preferred GPA of 3.2 or above)
