This role involves delivering advanced medical care in an outpatient environment. The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) will manage orthopedic patients, collaborating closely with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals. As a skilled practitioner, the APN will perform specific procedures, develop tailored treatment plans, assess patient outcomes, and adjust care strategies as necessary. The APN will also facilitate patient transitions between different service areas and provide essential education to patients and their families.
Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:
· Required: Master's Degree
· Field of Study: Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nursing
Experience Requirements:
· Required: 3-5 years of relevant experience
· Preferred: 6-10 years of relevant experience
Licensure and Certifications:
· Required:
- CPR – Basic Life Support Certification
- Current Registered Nurse License - State of Illinois
- Nursing Practitioner License - State of Illinois
- Physician Assistant License
· Preferred: Specialty certification in a clinical nursing area from a recognized national organization
Technical Skills:
· Required: Basic Keyboarding Skills
· Preferred: Familiarity with EPIC Software
· Other: Willingness to learn EPIC through on-the-job training
