Job Description

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Principal Product Manager - Tech to join our Shopping Design Product team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for developing a customer-centric roadmap and owning the product vision within a broad coverage area such as discovery, core shopping, or storewide patterns.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for reinventing the shopping experience and a strong background in product management, with experience owning customer-facing product roadmap strategy, quantifying and prioritizing features, and making high-judgment decisions that are well-articulated to senior leaders.

Key responsibilities include defining a CX vision for the shopping experience in partnership with the design team, developing an actionable product roadmap, and identifying and influencing product/engineering teams to run experiments.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, and effectively influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
  • 7+ years product management experience
  • Well-developed analytical skills and experience setting up experiments and analyzing results
  • Experience owning customer-facing product roadmap strategy, quantifying and prioritizing features, and making high-judgment decisions that are well-articulated to senior leaders
  • Strong ability to earn trust and influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and effectively influence across cross-functional teams
  • Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority
  • Experience interpreting and communicating analytics
  • Master's Degree
