We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them to capture optimal images requested by the physician.
- Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and prepare and operate the CT scan equipment.
- Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies, and providing all types of care to patients.
- Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and/or invasive procedures.
- Monitor inventory of supplies during room rotation and maintain room cleanliness.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- State Registered Radiologic Technician certification.
- 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
