We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at IRET. As a key member of our property care team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, providing excellent customer service to our residents, and working collaboratively with our service team to prepare new apartment homes for occupancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, painting, and drywall work.
  • Maintain the efficient operation and upkeep of property buildings and grounds.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vacant units prior to new resident occupancy.
  • Respond to resident service requests, entering and tracking requests using a work order system.
  • Keep all amenity areas clean and operable, and assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal and groundskeeping.

Requirements:

  • Must be available for on-call work, including evenings, weekends, and overnight calls, via a rotating schedule.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to learn and complete plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting tasks, with prior knowledge in these areas being helpful but not required.
