Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients by preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, conducting diagnostic studies, and ensuring the safe use and disposal of radioactive materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calibrate equipment used in diagnostic and therapeutic studies.
- Provide care for patients across various age groups, from birth to geriatric.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Registered with ARRT and/or NMTCB or eligible for registry.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-3 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology preferred.
