Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Janitorial Services Specialist to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Dust and damp mop floors to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Move equipment and furniture as needed to facilitate cleaning and maintenance.
  • Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment, sanitizing all surfaces.
  • Wash walls, windows, furniture, and other items to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
  • Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors, and shampoo carpet as needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous industrial housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
