Job Summary

The Metal Stamping Press Operator will play a critical role in supporting production by ensuring the correct and safe operation of press lines, including die setup, machine adjustments, and simultaneous operation of multiple presses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate automatic power press and auxiliary equipment in a safe and correct manner.
  • Set up die in a press, making feed and machine adjustments as indicated.
  • Perform and document scheduled preventive equipment maintenance, communicating equipment-related problems correctly.
  • Identify, handle, and requisition raw materials.
  • Perform and document required visual and physical quality inspections as indicated by control plan/operator check sheet.
  • Read, interpret, and comply with the Production Work Order.
  • Identify and handle non-conforming product.
  • Handle finished product and corresponding documentation.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to troubleshoot and conduct minor repair equipment issues with minimal guidance or supervision. The role will be responsible for driving best practices daily through high standards of quality compliance and EHS standards.
