Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients in entering examination areas while ensuring accurate documentation of their medical charts, adhering to all relevant regulations.
  • Manage patient flow effectively throughout the day to maintain a timely schedule.
  • Provide educational resources to patients and address their inquiries to enhance understanding of their health.
  • Implement medical directives from licensed healthcare providers, including conducting tests, administering treatments, and managing referrals.
  • Accurately document patient visits in the electronic health record system, ensuring proper billing for services rendered.
  • Perform duties related to health assessment, education, counseling, and supportive care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed healthcare provider.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of medical supplies, ensuring readiness for patient encounters.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, including training sessions and peer evaluations as requested by management.
  • Follow up on orders from healthcare providers regarding laboratory results and specialist referrals.
  • Adhere to all relevant safety and quality regulations, including OSHA and CLIA standards.
  • Participate in Patient-Centered Medical Home initiatives as part of the Clinical Care Team.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management or supervisory staff.

Qualifications:
Applicants must be graduates of an accredited nursing program and hold a valid New York State practical nursing license. A commitment to teamwork, compassion in high-pressure situations, and a professional demeanor are essential. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times.

Compensation:
