Job Summary

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in a travel nursing position. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.

Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
  • Position patients correctly and safely to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
  • Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and images.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • ARRT (CT) certification and BLS certification required.
  • RT (T) and ASRT certification preferred.
  • Strong experience with GE and Meditech systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
