Position Overview

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an IT Operations Manager to oversee a critical Cyber Operations Center. The successful candidate will have extensive expertise in IT operations, capable of delivering comprehensive reports in both written and verbal formats, and will be knowledgeable in the ITIL incident management framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 24/7 technical leadership for a sophisticated Cyber Operations Center that supports military operations.
  • Maintain situational awareness of all outages impacting managed systems, tracking customer effects and event resolutions.
  • Make informed decisions regarding cyber operations, service delivery, and incident management; facilitate the resolution of high-priority events.
  • Ensure comprehensive situational understanding to prioritize IT incidents effectively, allocate resources for incident resolution, and assess operational impacts.
  • Oversee, authorize, and manage service interruptions for the network.
  • Deliver precise reporting to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely incident responses and adherence to organizational processes and service level agreements.
  • Monitor various cyber assets using multiple tools to guarantee network availability.
  • Identify network issues and anomalies; implement personnel call-out procedures for alerts and emergencies.
  • Review critical information reports for technical accuracy before dissemination.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on policies and procedures in the cyber domain, staying informed of environmental changes.
  • Act as the senior representative of the contract team outside of core hours, making decisions on behalf of leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active SECRET clearance or eligibility for Interim SECRET clearance.
  • High School diploma with 6 years of experience, or an Associate's degree with 4 years, or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in military operations (e.g., NETOPS/G3/S3/S6).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including rotating shifts.
  • Must be a positive, focused, and collaborative team player.
  • Highly organized and adaptable to change.
  • Understanding of military missions and the role of IT in supporting those missions.
  • Ability to engage professionally with all levels of military personnel.
  • Basic overall IT knowledge is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ITIL Foundations V3 certification.
  • Experience in IT operations at the Brigade level or higher.
  • Current Top Secret Security clearance.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
Work Environment
  • Standard office environment with fast-paced, deadline-driven conditions.
  • May require non-traditional working hours, including nights or weekends as necessary.
