Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Caregiver/Patient Care Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN) to administer prescribed medications, take vital signs, and provide direct patient care.
You'll also be responsible for restocking medication inventories and identifying safety hazards to ensure resident safety.
Responsibilities- Administer prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN.
- Present medication to patients and observe ingestion or administer medication using specified procedures.
- Take vital signs or observe patients to detect response to medication, and report reactions.
- Restock medication inventories.
- Provide direct patient care and ensure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations.
