Behavior Specialist

At Nulton Diagnostic & Treatment Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Behavior Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing clinical direction of services to children, youth, and young adults. Your expertise will be essential in developing and revising Functional Behavioral Assessments and Individualized Treatment Plans, as well as overseeing the implementation of these plans by Behavioral Health Technician staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and revise Functional Behavioral Assessments and Individualized Treatment Plans to ensure effective treatment outcomes.

2. Provide clinical direction and oversight to Behavioral Health Technician staff to ensure high-quality services are delivered.

3. Document client responses to treatment and maintain accurate and timely records.

4. Complete all assigned trainings to stay current with best practices and guidelines in the field.

5. Attend regular supervisions and participate in direct observations to ensure quality of care.

Qualifications and Requirements:

A valid Behavior Specialist License in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is required. A graduate degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of one year of experience working in the mental health field with children are also necessary. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills are essential for this role.
