Overview:

Vertical Mechanical Group Inc is a leading full-service HVAC and Plumbing contractor, specializing in large-scale commercial projects.

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing overall management and direction for mechanical installation and service projects.

The successful candidate will have 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on Mechanical or Commercial installation projects, with a Master's License being a plus. You will be well-versed in HVAC Systems, including VRF systems, and have a strong understanding of MEP drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct mechanical installation and service projects
  • Work closely with project executives, project managers, foremen, and subcontractors
  • Build out project needs, manage project budget, and meet client expectations
  • Implement and manage construction sites through RFIs, change orders, scheduling, phasing, punch lists, etc.
  • Foster excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings and commercial construction projects
  • Basic knowledge of methods, equipment, and tools used in the HVAC service and installation trade

Benefits:

This is a highly competitive compensation and benefits package that includes a base salary of $95,000 - $110,000 per year, financial and medical benefits, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

The position is based at our HQ in Sterling, VA, with up to 30-40% travel required to work sites in the DMV area.
