Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Centinela Hospital Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in the Los Angeles area. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Function as the first point of contact with patients and families, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their imaging needs are met.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Process and transmit images to our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
Requirements
  • Current Certification in Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
  • Obtain fluoroscopy permit from CDPH within six months of hire.
  • Obtain venipuncture certificate within three months of hire.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing radiologic technology.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Graduate of a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
  • At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Proficient computer skills.
