Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Grand Meadow, MN. As a member of our team, you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to assist with delivering patient care and rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic treatment interventions in accordance with established treatment plans, focusing on measurable outcomes and functional improvements for adult and geriatric patients.
- Monitor patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Participate in training programs for community staff, patients, families, and rehabilitation teams.
- Assist in establishing restorative nursing programs, collaborating with the restorative nursing department to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all interactions and interventions.
Requirements:
- A successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and patient-centered care.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, prioritizing their needs and comfort.
License and Certification:
- A current, valid Physical Therapist Assistant license to practice in the state of Minnesota.
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $62,000-$72,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Blue Stone Therapy offers a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
