About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team, with a strong background in accounting and financial analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing journal entries, compiling and analyzing financial data, and providing insights and answers to accounting inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve journal entries for accurate posting to the general ledger.
  • Compile and analyze data from the general ledger to prepare both internal and external consolidated financial statements.
  • Review monthly account reconciliations for various Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts.
  • Provide insights and answers to accounting and financial inquiries by researching and interpreting relevant data.
  • Support external auditors by preparing work papers and gathering necessary account information and documentation for the annual audit.
  • Independently conduct analyses or prepare reports to fulfill specific project requirements.
  • Oversee general accounting functions, including capital expenditures, payroll reconciliations, and job cost entries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA preferred.
  • Public Accounting experience a plus.

Salary and Benefits

Competitive salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
