Medical Practice Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Practice Director to lead our team at Oceana Gastroenterology.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
About the Role- Oversee all administrative and practice operations to ensure high-quality patient care and a safe environment for patients and staff.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in healthcare management. They should possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Review and Improvement- Assess and improve administrative and practice processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
The Practice Director will work independently and collaborate with other managers to develop and implement new policies and procedures as needed.
Communication- Effectively communicate with employees, providers, and patients to ensure seamless interactions and resolve issues promptly.
This includes coordinating staff meetings, providing training and support, and investigating patient complaints.
Staffing- Develop staffing schedules and assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
The Practice Director will work closely with personnel to optimize staffing levels and minimize non-productive time and excessive payroll expenses.
Business Responsibility- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports to monitor collections, outstanding balances, and supply usage.
The successful candidate will use data to manage the medical practice effectively and prepare regular reports for executive leadership.
Patient / Payer / Health Organization Liaison- Manage patient complaints efficiently while balancing customer service and financial considerations.
They will also coordinate with sales and marketing teams to promote patient care services and programs.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- A Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare management.
