The Corporate Attorney will be a key member of the AEG Legal and Administration team, reporting directly to the Chief Legal & Administrative Officer. The position is responsible for supporting the Chief Legal and Administrative Officer through a variety of tasks, including internal communications, drafting documents and templates, reviewing, and advising on contractual agreements, and conducting legal research and writing.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiate, Draft, and Review Legal Documents
- Negotiate, draft, and review a wide range of legal documents, including liability waivers, sweepstakes and contest rules, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, employment agreements, and sponsorship agreements.
- Provide Legal Advice and Guidance
- Provide accurate, relevant, and timely advice on a variety of legal topics, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and League guidelines.
- Ensure Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and League guidelines, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures
- Assist in the development, review, and enforcement of organizational policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Conduct Legal Research and Analysis
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Communicate and Coordinate with External Parties
- Communicate and coordinate with outside counsel, vendors, and other external parties as needed.
- Education and Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Either bar admission in a UBE state with the opportunity to transfer to Ohio or register for Ohio Corporate Counsel Status or ability to become admitted.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Skills and Qualifications

- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and subject matters efficiently.
