Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead and collaborate with colleagues from different departments, as well as external customers, to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Maintenance and Inspections: Conduct regular maintenance checks on buildings, inspect mechanical components, and report to the Property Manager to ensure all systems are functioning properly.
  • Staff Management: Ensure all employees are properly trained, equipped, and performing their assigned duties to meet the needs of our properties.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory purchases, ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines, and maintain accurate records of stock levels and purchases.
  • Safety and Emergency Response: Maintain a safe working environment, educate employees on proper safety procedures, and respond to emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of our facilities.
  • Contractor Management: Monitor the functions of service contractors and building repair and maintenance contractors to ensure high-quality work and timely completion of tasks.
  • Procurement and Budgeting: Assist in the solicitation of bids and proposals for the property, make recommendations to the Property Manager, and ensure compliance with established purchasing procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Three to four years of supervisory experience in a similar role, preferably in the facilities management industry.
  • Certifications: EPA or CFC (HVAC) certificate required.
  • Other: Valid driver's license and auto insurance, with a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
