- Handle complex insurance coverage disputes, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court.
- Negotiate settlements and resolve claims on behalf of clients.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda on various insurance coverage topics.
- Stay abreast of developments in insurance law and advise clients on potential impacts.
- Collaborate with other attorneys to develop strategies for litigation and dispute resolution.
- Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating a commitment to professional ethics, as well as complying with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain client relationships while ensuring confidentiality and high ethical standards.
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage or a related field.
- Proven experience in handling insurance coverage disputes and litigation.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze complex insurance policies.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
