Electrophysiology Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.

Job Summary:

The Electrophysiology Technician will provide technical and clinical support for the Arrhythmia Services, performing advanced technological applications for electrophysiology procedures under the general supervision of the Arrhythmia Service Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide frontline technical and clinical support for the Arrhythmia Services
  • Perform advanced technological applications for electrophysiology procedures
  • Work under the general supervision of the Arrhythmia Service Coordinator
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements
  • Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • Experience in a high-volume arrhythmia service or cardiac cath lab
  • 2 years of experience in a high-volume arrhythmia service

Preferred Qualifications:

  • RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist) within 2 years of hire
