Position Overview:
The LPN for Adult and Youth Crisis Stabilization at Child & Family Services, Inc. is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing and medical care within the boundaries of their licensure, all while operating under the guidance of the Nurse Manager.

This role is essential in supporting and executing the established treatment objectives and principles of the organization. The LPN will provide care to children, adolescents, and adults, adhering to recognized medical standards.

Service Context:
The Youth Crisis Care Services (YCCS) and Adult Crisis Care Services (ACCS) are designed as short-term stabilization units within Acute Care Services, catering to individuals up to 18 years old and adults aged 18 and above.

The primary mission of these services is to offer short-term crisis stabilization, therapeutic interventions, and specialized programming in a secure environment that emphasizes supervision and structure.

Compensation:
Starting salary ranges from $30 to $33 per hour, contingent on experience, plus additional shift differentials.

Available Shifts:
- Sunday: 2nd Shift
- Monday: 2nd Shift
- Tuesday: 2nd Shift
- Wednesday: 1st Shift
- Thursday: 2nd Shift
- Friday: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Shifts
- Saturday: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Shifts
Note: 3rd Shift on Friday and Saturday (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) is in high demand with a $7.50 per hour shift differential.

Language Differential:
An additional $1 per hour for proficiency in eligible languages such as Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Spanish, or ASL.

Sign-On Bonus:
A $2500 bonus for full-time positions, distributed in two installments (half at 3 months and half at 6 months).

Shift Differentials:
- Saturday-Sunday 1st Shift: +$2.50/hour
- Monday-Friday 2nd Shift: +$1.50/hour
- Saturday & Sunday 2nd Shift: +$4.00/hour
- Sunday-Thursday 3rd Shift: +$5.00/hour
- Friday & Saturday 3rd Shift: +$7.50/hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor the mental health conditions of patients and create tailored care plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Observe and report any changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Assist in coordinating admissions and discharges by collaborating with the treatment team.
- Review cases and assist with triage as necessary in the Emergency Services Program.
- Engage in ongoing staff development and training programs.
- Participate in regularly scheduled supervision with the Nurse Manager.

- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
