**Job Description:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving problems with workstations, printers, and local area networking.

  • Install and configure operating systems and applications, including Microsoft Windows.
  • Apply system and software updates and patches manually and using automation.
  • Respond to IAVAs and IAVBs, and deploy, update, and operate HBSS, A/V, and anti-malware solutions.
  • Execute scans of incoming and outgoing media, perform data transfers, and complete related documentation.

**Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS clearance is a MUST.
  • Security+ certifications or equivalent for DoD 8570 compliance.
  • 4+ years' experience in Windows System Administration, including:
    • Windows Active Directory, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Windows 10/11, and Microsoft Office suite.
    • Understanding of Microsoft Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).
    • Experience with backup solutions such as NetBackup, BackupExec, or Arcserve.
    • Familiarity with application, desktop, and/or server virtualization.
    • Maintain/apply STIGs and patches/firmware updates.
