CNC Lathe Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team at UNION SPECIAL LLC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC turning centers with precision and efficiency.

• Setup Verification: Validate and execute machine setups according to specifications.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Work from detailed specifications, including verbal instructions, technical drawings, and blueprints; perform necessary calculations related to dimensions, tooling, and machining parameters.
• Precision Measurement: Utilize a variety of precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with dimensional tolerances outlined in the drawings.
• Machine Monitoring: Oversee machine operations to ensure optimal performance and output quality.
• Rework and Calibration: Adjust and refine production components or assemblies as needed; conduct accuracy checks on each part produced.

• CNC Experience: Proven experience operating CNC turning centers.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
• Gauging Proficiency: Familiarity with various gauging tools and techniques.
• Project Management: Capability to work on intricate projects with minimal supervision.
• Instruction Comprehension: Strong ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent focus on precision and quality in work.
• Safety Awareness: Understanding of safety protocols and the ability to adhere to them.
