Job Title: Senior Counsel, Strategic Customer Group

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Counsel, Strategic Customer Group to join our Global Legal Organization located in Titusville, NJ. As a key member of our team, you will provide legal advice and support to our Strategic Customer Group, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic legal advice on a wide range of business initiatives and materials, including 340B and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
  • Advise senior management on general legal matters and coordinate Law Department support for the business.
  • Provide specialized legal advice to the Strategic Customer Group on healthcare law matters.
  • Work closely with other Law Department colleagues to facilitate consistent, efficient, and effective legal support for J&J Innovative Medicine.
  • Serve as an active member of trade associations and engage in activities to shape the external environment in innovative contracting arrangements and solutions.
Requirements:
  • A Juris Doctor Degree or LL.M. with admission to and current good standing with the bar of at least one state or the District of Columbia.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in private practice and/or in-house advising clients in the pharmaceutical and healthcare space.
  • Knowledge of 340B, IRA, government reimbursement programs, and price reporting laws, as well as pharmaceutical business models and healthcare payment and delivery trends.
  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work independently and build cross-functional relationships.
