Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in New Oxford, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections on heavy-duty vehicles. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fleet, meeting the highest standards of quality and productivity.

Responsibilities
• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties
• Conduct standard component inspections and repairs
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing diagnostic computer tools when applicable
• Identify root causes of failures and perform repairs as required
• Replace defective components as instructed
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints

Required Skills and Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree, or technical certifications preferred
• Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
• Basic tools required
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A, preferred
