KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee and assign tasks to team leaders and personnel to ensure that goals are achieved and outstanding service is consistently delivered.

Lead operations with enthusiasm, integrity, and expertise while fostering the culture and values of Eatatthegarage.

Execute new company policies and procedures by formulating strategies and guiding staff accordingly.

Provide guidance to team leaders and staff to meet restaurant objectives.

Regularly assess operations and personnel to pinpoint any issues, concerns, and areas for enhancement.

Offer coaching and constructive feedback to managers and team members, continuously evaluating performance.

Enhance the guest experience by providing exceptional service and ensuring all staff engage with customers to comprehend their needs and surpass expectations.

Manage the establishment to achieve or exceed standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness.

Continuously monitor product and labor expenses to stay within established targets.

Gather guest feedback to better understand customer preferences and desires.

Train and mentor staff on principles and practices of guest service.

Adhere to restaurant policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and safety/security protocols.

Supervise and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) System.

Assist in the rollout of new menu items.

Devise and implement innovative solutions to identified areas needing improvement.

Support in conducting staff meetings and daily pre-shift briefings.

Provide assistance in various areas of the restaurant when staffing shortages occur.

Identify employee development needs and provide retraining as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Preferred college degree.

Experience: 2-3 years of recent experience in the restaurant industry preferred.

Ability to learn and effectively utilize the POS System.

Capable of lifting a minimum of 10-25 lbs. and completing training across all restaurant areas.

Must be receptive to direction and able to delegate tasks efficiently.

Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Certifications: ServSafe Certification preferred.

Additional Skills: Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
