Job Summary

Saratoga Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Nurse RN to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a critical care travel nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those requiring mechanical ventilation and hemodynamic monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
  • Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations as needed.
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • 2 years of experience in critical care nursing, preferably in an ICU setting.
  • ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
  • Experience with Epic and Omnicell-Med systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Work Schedule

This is a 3x12 hour night shift position, working 7pm-7am, 3 days per week.

Additional Information
  • This is a travel nurse position, and the nurse will be required to provide a government-issued photo ID.
  • The hospital is located within a 50-mile radius of the specified locations.
