Position Overview:
A healthcare provider in Leominster is looking for a dedicated and empathetic family practice physician to become part of a supportive outpatient team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of experience, have a strong commitment to evidence-based medicine, and be adept at treating patients of all ages. This position emphasizes teamwork with other healthcare professionals and includes leadership responsibilities for mid-level providers and nursing staff.
Essential Qualifications:
- Massachusetts medical license as an MD or DO
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Board certification or eligibility in family practice
- MA DEA certificate prior to employment commencement
- Current CPR certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive primary care to patients across all age groups
- Contribute to the formulation of clinic protocols and procedures to uphold high standards of medical care
- Engage in utilization and peer review initiatives to assess the quality of medical services provided
- Offer guidance and consultation to physician assistants and nurse practitioners
- Provide telephone consultation services to other practitioners as needed
