Job Summary:The Division of Critical Care in the Department of Internal Medicine at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has an opportunity for a BE/BC Intensivist to join our team. Our program oversees 28 Critical Care beds, including a 14-bed mixed medical and surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and a 14-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). Intensivists are supported by Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and Anesthesiology residents from the University of New York at Buffalo.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary Critical Care team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and care processes
- Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Medical Doctor degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Anesthesiology, Surgery, or Internal Medicine
- Fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine preferred
