Join Our Team as a Medical Assistant in Dermatology

We are Advanced Dermatology and Skin Care, a premier dermatology practice serving the Greater Houston area, and we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a Medical Assistant with experience in a dermatology clinic setting to work directly under the supervision of a board-certified dermatologist or derm-specific provider. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care and has a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Rooming patients, taking medical histories, and performing physical exams
  • Scribing in the exam room with the provider and assisting with minor surgeries, biopsies, and cultures
  • Providing administrative support, including triage desk work and other tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a dermatology clinic setting
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
  • Certifications: RMA/CMA preferred, CDT preferred (we will pay for your certification)
