AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a key member of our water resources team, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct geotechnical field explorations, borehole logging, and construction observation to collect and analyze data.
  • Prepare engineering-related calculations, develop drawings, and visual aids to support geotechnical analysis.
  • Execute geotechnical engineering analysis, including slope stability, seepage, settlement, shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls, and seismic.
  • Develop and maintain geotechnical databases and reports to support project delivery.
  • Collaborate with senior geotechnical engineers to develop and implement geotechnical design solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Geotechnical/Geological Engineering.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology, field work experience, and proficiency with geotechnical software.
