Surgical Coordinator in Inpatient Setting

Avera Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team as an Inpatient Coordinator. This role plays a critical part in providing surgical care by facilitating services for patients alongside a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate services for patients in cooperation with the healthcare team, extending the function of the Resource Nurse.
- Integrate healthcare services while making supply and equipment judgments under the guidance of the Resource Nurse.
This position requires competence in surgical technologist skills, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and the ability to make informed decisions regarding supplies and equipment.
Requirements- Satisfactory completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program is required.
- Previous experience as a Surgical Technician is preferred.
The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in patient care, operating room procedures, and effective communication. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and experiences.
