As a Bankruptcy Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing the notification, statusing, and filing of claims, as well as handling adversary actions. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with attorneys and other team members to provide comprehensive support in the bankruptcy process. Your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail will enable you to effectively prepare and review balance statements, proof of claims, and other critical documents.
Responsibilities and Requirements- Manage the notification, statusing, and filing of claims, including adversary actions.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to provide comprehensive support in the bankruptcy process.
- Prepare and review balance statements, proof of claims, and other critical documents.
- Perform legal and regulatory research and analysis for attorneys.
- Prepare subpoenas, depositions, and records, as well as disposition, trial, and hearing instruments.
- Review Federal, State, and Local rules concerning procedure.
- Document regulatory and compliance issues and files related to regulatory reports.
- Collect data and prepare reports, including correspondence to clients, counsel, and courts.
In addition to your technical skills and knowledge, you'll need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A Bachelor's degree and two to five years of experience in legal documentation activities are required for this position.
