Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality hardware systems to customers on time and with exceptional satisfaction.
  • Develop innovative hardware solutions for various applications, from conceptualization to implementation within Mujin production systems.
  • Build, troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and document electromechanical and robotic systems, as well as test setups.
  • Establish and execute QA test plans related to hardware to ensure intended lifetime.
  • Create comprehensive user manuals and documentation sets for all hardware designed.
  • Define and execute hardware engineering processes, standards, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Set up and maintain systems, workflows, and documentation to manage supply chain, R&D, integration, deployment, and after-service.
  • Establish and maintain hardware R&D and manufacturing facilities, including workshops for prototyping, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of hardware engineers with diverse backgrounds and skills.
  • Collaborate with sales, integration, and operations teams within Mujin Corp and Mujin group companies globally.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware design principles and technologies, including sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Strong understanding of robotics and material handling systems.
  • Proficiency in hardware and design analysis tools, including CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, EPLAN, and related PDM.
  • Experience with embedded systems design and microcontroller programming.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
