Junior Laboratory Scientist

The Associate Scientist plays a crucial role in the execution and documentation of scientific experiments, maintaining laboratory equipment, and assisting scientific staff in conducting and reporting laboratory experiments.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct and document scientific experiments, ensuring high reproducibility of results.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new methods and processes.
- Prepare buffer solutions and perform other lab duties related to methods development.
- Collect and analyze data, summarize results, and report findings.
- Maintain a laboratory notebook according to company guidelines.
- Ensure the laboratory is organized, clean, and properly supplied.
- Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field with 1 year of relevant experience; OR Associate's Degree in a science-related field with 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments with little supervision.
- Ability to clearly communicate in writing and verbally with internal staff.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and basic equipment troubleshooting.

- Experience prolonged standing, along with some bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Use hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
- Potential for exposure to hazardous chemicals, gases, fumes, odors, mists, and dusts, and other hazardous materials.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on occasion and 25 pounds regularly.
