About the Role

Abile Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating complex systems from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the completion of specific engineering programs and projects
  • Develop solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems
  • Perform complex systems design, development, and integration
  • Oversee complex infrastructure, including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
  • Perform complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
  • Maintain current knowledge of rapidly changing technology
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
  • May serve as a team or task lead
Requirements
  • Clearance Required: TS/SCI clearance required and eligibility to obtain a CI poly
  • Degree and Years of Experience: BA/BS or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
  • 8+ years of related systems engineering experience
  • Security+ certification or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent within 90 days of hire
  • Required Skills: Linux system administrator, Scripting / Coding (Bash, Python, etc), Kubernetes, Ansible, Helm charts, Automation
  • Desired Skills: Deep expertise in one of the following areas and working knowledge of one or more of the other following: Operational support, Virtualization technologies (VMware, virtual networking, vROPS, XenServer/XCP-ng), Red Hat Enterprise Linux, YUM, Satellite, Capsule technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Ceph storage platform, GitLab
