About the Job

We are seeking a highly qualified Music Instructor to join our team at the University of Minnesota. The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate students in applied lessons, hold office hours to assist and advise students, and participate in relevant departmental meetings and services.

This is a part-time position, and teaching may be for day, evening, or summer session courses. The positions are contingent upon student enrollment, performance, and availability of funding.

The ideal candidate will have a terminal degree in a relevant field and demonstrated teaching experience in a specified area. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate and undergraduate students in applied lessons

  • Demonstrated teaching experience in a specified field
