Job Summary

We are seeking a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team in a center-based setting. As a BCaBA, you will play a vital role in supporting the clinical needs of our clients, working closely with children with Autism and other developmental needs, conducting evaluations, providing direct services, and collaborating with families and clinical staff to support our client's development goals.

Responsibilities
  • Support a caseload of 10-15 clients under the direct supervision of a BCBA
  • Coordinate with family and staff to provide the appropriate level of supervision and parent/caregiver training, maximizing service utilization
  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Supervisor(s) to update treatment plans as needed and ensure proper collection of data against goals
  • Maintain BCaBA certification by renewing certification as mandated by the BACB/state regulatory body
  • Follow the BACB BCBA Ethic Code
  • Follow all company policies and procedures and represent the company professionally in all client and colleague interactions
  • Finish daily clinical notes on time and with accuracy
  • Maintain HIPAA confidentiality at all times
Requirements
  • Efficiently use a Company iPad and Laptop for internal communications, data tracking, clinical notes, scheduling, and other applications that may be needed
  • Work in the center setting
  • Work on the floor or in children's chairs with clients
  • Handle aggressive behaviors and monitor the movement of clients to ensure client and provider safety
  • Pass TB test, immunizations, and background check
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Experience and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field is required
  • An active BCaBA certification with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and proof of 8-hour supervision training completion
  • 2+ years working with children with Autism and/or related disorders
  • Experience and/or familiarity with the field of early intervention
  • Knowledge of assessment and implementation of Vineland, Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), and Assessment for Functional Living Skills (AFLS)
  • Fluent in program development to meet treatment goals, assessment implementation, and report development
  • Passionate about behavioral science and disseminating best practices and current research within the ABA field
  • A proactive approach to managing your cases and supporting the broader clinical team
