Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and immobilizing them as needed.
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as required for CT procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a radiologic technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT within two years of hire.
