Job Title: LPN

Job Summary:
SWLA Center for Health Services is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our multidisciplinary care team. As an integral part of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the care team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Collect and document patient information to assist physicians in providing medical care.
  • Assist with procedures, examinations, and laboratory specimen collection.
  • Administer medications within scope of practice as ordered by physicians.
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, clinic equipment, and supplies.
  • Participate in training and health promotion activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing, Chief Medical Officer, and assigned Medical Provider.

Requirements:
  • High School Graduate.
  • Successful completion of Practical Nursing course from an accredited Technical School.
  • Current State Licensure.
  • Current BLS/IV Certification.
  • CEU's or equivalent contact hours for re-licensure or re-certification.
