We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team in the DMV region and lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. This role requires a strong leader who can manage Assistant Superintendents, Project Engineers, and field personnel to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Job Summary
The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation for Southway Builders in the DMV region. This role requires a strong leader who can manage Assistant Superintendents, Project Engineers, and field personnel to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all on-site project activities
- Develop and implement recovery schedules as needed
- Manage relationships with city inspectors and ensure compliance with building/Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) inspection requirements
- Oversee quality control processes, including creating and managing quality control checklists
- Prepare and maintain subcontractor meeting minutes and coordinate 3rd party inspections
- Demonstrate active engagement with the owner and design team through regular correspondence
- Review and annotate submittals, shop drawings, and subcontractor tickets
- Manage the punch list and perform quantity takeoffs as needed
- Actively update the master schedule and participate in progress updates for all owner meetings

Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in construction management or engineering preferred
- Demonstrates above-average competencies of Level 1 Superintendent
- 3+ years of Construction Superintendent experience
- 4+ years of leadership experience
- Experience working on projects over $15M
- Proficient technical competency in different types/scales/complexities of construction
- Proficient in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite to include MS Project
- In-depth understanding of clauses/articles of boiler plate subcontractor agreements, including Attachment A's
- Ability to successfully lead an OSHA inspection

- Annual salary range: $90,000 - $165,000 based on qualifications and experience
