We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Network Engineer to join our team at Origin Bank. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily administration, deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of our network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with staging, deployment, maintenance, configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation of network hardware and software.
- Monitor and manage network performance, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to design, order, stage, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot network software, hardware, and services.
- Generate reports on network intrusions, disruptions, degradation, and utilization within our internal and external network infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain documentation of network processes, layouts, designs, and changes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in the network infrastructure industry.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with IS Certification and two years related experience; or Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in CIS and one year related experience in similar environment; or CCNA Certification or Higher, with two years of experience with network and security.
- Expert knowledge of current Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suites, structure data cabling, patch panels, etc., networking in hypervisor environments like Nutanix, VMware, etc., advance networking, routing, and application protocols, configuration of modern firewalls and networking equipment such as Arista, Palo Alto, Aruba, Cisco.
- Ability to interact and communicate appropriately with other employees, customers, and supervisors, and to serve customers in a manner that will reflect superior customer relations and enhance the overall marketing effort of Origin Bank.
