Job Summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a skilled Certified Nurse-Midwife to join our OB/GYN team at Piedmont Athens Regional. As a CNM, you will provide high-quality care to obstetric patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prenatal care in an outpatient setting, collaborating with OBGYN physicians for high-risk obstetric patients.
  • Deliver patients in the inpatient setting and coordinate patient care with nursing staff, OB hospitalist, pharmacy, radiology, and other service lines.
  • Offer GYN care, including contraceptive counseling and family planning services.

Qualifications
  • Minimum one year of experience working as a Certified Nurse-Midwife in full scope practice.
  • Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited Masters of Nursing program and National Board Certification.
  • Valid Georgia license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and recognition by the Georgia Board of Nursing as a CNM.
  • Current certification or pending certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
