Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Friendship Village Retirement Community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures in resident apartments and throughout the facility.
  • Use carpenter's hand tools and power tools, conforming to local building codes and regulations.
  • Read blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard, and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with carpenter's hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
